Hey folks - just a quick update.
Im still loving my break from the 9-5 daily grind, and im currently busy with little bits and bobs of freelance work to keep the money coming in.
I have ideas and plans for some new personal work, but just cant find the time to start at the moment due to the freelance work im getting!
I should hopefully expect to create some new characters before the year is out - i still keep putting off working on my short film due to the fact that i just dont enjoy animating anywhere near as much as character creation, and when it comes to personal work, you just want to do things you enjoy.
My 'suzie and the lil' nipper' piece has been accepted into the new Expose book, and will also feature in the gallery of the upcoming issue 110 of 3D world, which has made me pretty chuffed.
Finally, I will be going on yet another big holiday (while i can!) to asia. This time, im taking a break from my favourite place (Japan), and are going to China for a month in October. Hong kong, Yangshuo, Beijing and Shanghai are the main places me and my friend will visit. Should be great. I hope i can find some much-needed inspiration in the karst mountains of Yangshuo!
