Rawk etc...
Nothing major - just thought i'd menton this that now the NDA is released - I did some work on Guitar Hero II, which is now on sale.

I modeled and textured the PS2 and 360 versions of Pandora (both costumes) as well as modifying and tidying up the meshes for the existing GH1 band characters to improve poly efficiency and to fit the new designs, then texturing them.

It was great working on something i really love - i played the first one loads, and i liked Harmonix's character design a lot, so i asked if i could help out on the sequel

At the moment, im taking a break, playing some Gears of war, and slowly getting back into my animaton.

Phew!
Finally overcome 'modelers block' and finished a new character for my portfolio - Suzie!

I decided to give her a name as she is in several costumes, and might be in more in the future. I cant really call her 'vest girl' or 'bikini girl' because its dumb!

I couldnt resist making a bunny suit for her too

Im really pleased with the result. The skinning isnt as robust as i'd like and its pretty simplistic texture-wise, but the overall result is quite appealing.
Its extremely quick to render too. My Bunny girl character used skylights which were really slow. Suzie has a simple 4 spotlight setup with shadow maps and an ambient light.

Have a gander at the 2 pose sheets in my gallery!
